West Coast Soccer 07 Kryptonite win NorCal Winter League

The West Coast Kryptonite 07 Girls finished the Winter League undefeated following two impressive showings the past couple of weekends. In recent game Kryptonite faced a very good Folsom Earthquakes Premier ‘08 team. West Coast controlled the game and won the battle with an impressive 5-1 victory. Jariah Indalecio lit up Folsom for four goals, and Ryan Rodriguez scored putting an exclamation point on the victory. This past Sunday, the Kryptonite faced the Richmond Raven team at beautiful Cayetano park. With the younger West Coast Wolfpack ‘08 cheering them on, Kryptonite put on a clinic, showing skill with the ball, movement off the ball, communication, and pin point accuracy with their passing. The defense of Nylah Trias, Kendall Shetter, and Aubrey Westbrook proved to be too strong in the first half. Madden Black played goalie in the first half. Before the game Jayden Reynolds and Ella Nguyen helped get their team ready and supported them throughout the game. Trias was fantastic at mid and defense, Nikki Orth put a lot of pressure on the Richmond defense, and Aubrey Westbrook was stellar on all three lines. Second half keepers were Indalecio and Rodriguez. Offensively, eight Kryptonite put the ball in the back of the net for the game including Jariah Indalecio (3), Kambrie Jehs (3), Ryan Rodriguez, Kendall Shetter, Athena Taylor, Piper Sweeney, Madden Black, and Skyler Patillo for the 12-0 win. Coach Sara said “The Kryptonite showed such a great example for their sister team on how to play 9v9 soccer. Very impressed with our focus and discipline throughout the game.”
