West Coast 05 Boys Earthquakes Win NorCal R3/4 Gold League

The West Coast Earthquakes out of Mountain House and Tracy Region were coming off a great showing from Surf Cup Challenge in San Diego where they defeated Santa Monica, Dallas Texans and the home team San Diego Surf to get to the semifinals. Their first loss came from a solid Pasadena SC team in the Semi Final game. West Coast Earthquakes used this competitive experience to seal the deal on the 2017 Norcal league title by winning 6-0 in their match vs Heritage SC. The West Coast Earthquakes went 8 wins and only 1 loss to finish first place in the Norcal Region 3/4 Gold division. West Coast Soccer Earthquakes 05 Boys will enjoy an automatic birth into the Premier Division in the Spring of 2018. Along with the league title three stand out players from the West Coast 05 team have been identified to go train with the San Jose Earthquakes 05 Academy. The boys will be picked up by in the West Coast bus and hand delivered to the Earthquakes Academy doorstep by former Earthquakes Allstar and Hall of Famer Troy Dayak. “We started a Boys program here in the San Joaquin Region to help develop the young talent in our area.” Says Dayak. The West Coast Quakes team originated from a San Jose Earthquakes supported RDS training center held in Mountain House-Tracy area where like minded players were brought together and evaluated by Quakes staff and then selected and trained to participate on the Earthquakes RDS- Regional Developmental Teams.
