WCS Wolfpack have a solid weekend in Spring League

West Coast Wolfpack played Tecos to a 2-2 draw. Down 2-0 in a physical game, West Coast’s Sophia Paz played a beautiful cross in front of the goal that Allison Edgemon one timed in for Wolfpack’s first goal of the day. Later in the half, Jazlyn Gonzalez battle through the Tecos defense and scored the game tying goal. Keeper Ashley Browning made an excellent save on a breakaway in the final minutes to give her team the tie 2-2 and foiling Tecos post Cinco de Mayo celebration.

On Sunday May 7th the Wolfpack offense was firing on all cylinders early and often against Bay Oaks. Goals by Jazlyn Gonzalez, Allison Edgemon and Addison McNeil guided the Wolfpack to a 4-1 halftime lead. The offense continued to flex it’s muscle with Taylor Conover and Parker Black adding second half goals in route to a 8-3 victory for the Pack. Goal keeper Maisyn Perin along with Cailey Sasaki, Sophia Paz and Ashley Browning helped with another strong defensive effort for the team.
