WCS Wildkatz earn trip to Regionals in Hawaii

On a beautiful sunny Saturday, West Coast Soccer U13 Girls Wildkatz departed on the club bus to Turlock CA to face the 05 Tornados. The Wildkatz did not waste much time establishing control of the game with well trained runs and possession of the ball. The soccer field was massive in size (120x 80 yards) for the young girls team to cover but that didn’t slow the Wildkatz down who traveled with only 12 players.  Brilliant overlapping runs from Taryn Richey Nadia Sherman and Sydney Goodwin created many opportunities. Jayden Morton controlled the middle of the field quarterbacking the team, Zusette Zamora fired the first shot past Tornados GK. Carlee Lywandowsky put the hard work in winning balls and placing pin point passes to Cameron Silva who blasted the second goal in with a powerful shot. Silva would set up Sutton Denny for the third and final goal. West Coast Defense was anchored by Madison Reid & Jasmine Staples. Goalkeepers Isabella Gelao and Grace Langenfeld earns the shutout. With an undefeated fall league play in two separate leagues, West Coast Wildkatz 05 Girls earned a spot at the 2018 US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex from June 18-24th
