WCS U15G Wildfire Advance to the NorCal State Cup Elite 8

West Coast Wildfire U15G in Elite 8 – The West Coast Wildfire U15 girls battled through Norcal State Cup preliminary seeding, the qualifier, and a knockout phase to make into the prestigious “Elite 8”. The Elite 8 are the best of the best in Northern California with many of the teams in this group nationally ranked.

Wildfire’s road to the Elite 8 started in September of 2014. They beat out teams from across Northern California including Mustang, California Odyssey, Clovis Crossfire, and Walnut Creek. In the quarterfinals, Wildfire easily handed Fresno Chaos a 6 – 0 shutout defeat.

Next up for the Wildfire will be a very competitive match against Northern California’s #1 ranked, Santa Clara Sporting. Wildfire has battled Sporting in the past and has always come up a goal or two short. This weekend’s quarterfinal match in Modesto will be a thriller.

The West Coast Wildfire U15G play in both Norcal Premier’s National Premier League and CYSA’s California Regional League.
