This weekend saw West Coast’s U10 Krush scheduled for two big league games. Saturday’s game was bright and early, but the Krush girls were ready to take on their in-town rivals Livermore Fusion. Ciella Seals got things started for Krush as she netted the first goal off a great through ball from Sydney Goodwin. Nadia Sherman then connected with Ciella to put Krush up 2-0. About halfway through the first half Ariana Butler hit a great open field pass to Alana Albarran who netted the third Krush goal. In the first minute of the second half Ciella put the game away with her third goal off another great pass from Sydney. The Krush defense and midfield were in lockdown mode the entire game, only allowing Fusion 6 shots on goal. Goalkeeper Jillian Barth was a brick wall in goal only allowing 1 shot to get through. Krush went on to win 4-1.

Sunday morning saw Krush play host to Dublin High Energy. Krush came out a little slow, but they found their groove about halfway into the first half when Ciella hit a cross to Hailey Garvin who one-timed it in to put Krush up 1-0. A few minutes later Mina Shokoor hit a beautiful shot to put Krush up 2-0. The second half was all possession as the Krush defense, anchored by Sydney, Madylin Harrell, Alana and Kira Korsak held Dublin to only 2 shots on goal the entire game. Ciella added the third and final nail in the coffin off a beautiful cross from Hailey Brackett.

Through 6 league games, Krush is now 5-0-1 with 21 goals for and only 4 against. They currently have a 1 point lead over Mustang Flamengo with 2 games left to play. 1 more win and they will clinch their second Fall League title in two years.
