WCS 05 Wildkatz open the Ranch in style

This weekend marked the start of a new era for West Coast Soccer as they opened up a new soccer field at the Ranch. The young U13 Wildfire 05 Girls were honored with the first game ever played. The visiting team San Meteo Shooting Stars lived up to their name as the Got in the scoreboard first with a beautiful long range shot.  That sparked the Wildkatz who answered back with a goal from Camron Silva. SF took the lead again on rocket shot but the Wildkatz fired back with another goal from Camron Silva. Silva wasn’t done yet as she weaved through the SF defense to get her hat trick just before the whistle blew to end the half. After halftime instruction from coach Troy Dayak the team began to orchestrate with complete fluidity scoring 4 more goals, Cami Silva would get her forth of the game and Savannah Cordero, karlee Lywandowsky and Jasmine Staples finished the rest. Wildkatz defense was lead by GK Isabella Gelao, Madison Reid, Taryn Richey, Sydney Goodwin, Zusette Zamora, Sutton Denny & Kira Korsak. Midfielders Jaden Morton, Karlee Lywandowsky, Savannah Cordero helped orchestrate the attacks and Makenna Galvan & Nadia Sherman provided multiple assists on goals.

Sunday game resulted in another exhibit of passing and firepower as the Wildkatz surprised the SF Aftershock 9-0 with two goals from Nadia Sherman & Zusette Zamora and a goal each by Camron Silva, Nadia Sherman, Mia Mirante, Taryn Richey, Madison Reid, kira Korsic.  The Wildkatz dominated the two games and MVP Cameron Silva had this to say: “It is a awesome place to play soccer, the grass is super nice and I was so happy to score the first goal for West Coast at the new Ranch field.”
