WCS 05 Earthquakes undefeated in Winter League

On Sunday, March 4, Earthquakes had their final Winter league game against
Walnut Creek. Angad Bains got the scoring started from a miss kick by
Walnut Creek goalie giving Earthquake their first goal of the game. Walnut
Creek surged back with a shot but GK Sergio Juaregui blocked it. At the 17
min mark Izac Ramos assisted Angad Bains in a header a goal, giving
Earthquake a 2-0 lead. Later in the first half Diego Collazo scored giving
Earthquakes boys a 3 to 0 lead. The Quakes kept high pressure and just one
minute later, Angad Bains passed to Diego Collazo who assisted Ricardo
Ramos into scoring the 4th goal. Earthquakes ended first half with Bains
crossing the ball to Emanuel Collazo who scored the 5th goal. On the
defense side, Zachriah Williams, Fernando Malagon, Victor Jr Ramire, Izac
Ramos, Isaac Nawabi, Armin Mohammady, and Melvin Torres kept Walnut Creek
from scoring. The second half started with excellent passing and controlling
the ball by Hayden Pillai, squeezing the ball to Diego Collazo who assisted
Ricardo Ramos for goal 6. Walnut Creek put out maximum effort to score but
Earthquakes defense along with the GK Sergio Juaregui, kept stopping them.
In the 60th min Walnut Creek got through Earthquakes defense and scored but
the Earthquakes replied with their 7th goal, made by Daniel Valverde to
Emanuel Collozo. Earthquakes ended the game with a score of 7-1.
