99 Wild advance to State Cup Final 4

On Saturday May 7th West Coast Soccer Wild  U19 girls took the field at Mary Grogan Park in Modesto to face longtime rival Sporting green to see who will advance to the Semi Finals of Norcal State Cup.   Wild did not waste any time to put up goals. Tori Diehl’s first shot on target found its way past sporting GK.  Short time later Delanie Sheehan crossed a perfect ball to Kamrie Kaasa who headed the ball in to make it two. Wild was on a roll putting 5 more goals past rival Sporting Green ending the game 7-1.  Delanie Sheehan, Paola Samaniego, Megan Giamona and Lauren Sisneros provided many assists and were always threatening on the attack. Strong defensive efforts by Robyn McCarthy, Haley Bostard, Miori Freeman, Madison Carlton, Kylie Martinez, Goalkeepers Jen Kovisto and Callie Crain came up with some big time saves to keep the game way out of reach for sporting. Next up West Coast Wild take on Cal Blues in the semi finals as they continue their journey for a 5th straight state title. “This is a special team with heart of a champion, I think we had something to prove in this game and it showed in our play” -Coach Dayak
