07 Girls Kryptonite are Back-to-Back Champs

The girls have been playing great soccer this season. Starting the Tournament Season off with 2nd place in the Roseville Junction City Silver Cup. Winning the first three games to advance into the final. Addison McNeil tied the game with a brilliant goal in the corner with five minutes remaining. Kryptonite Fell short in a close game 3-4 with two minutes left in the game to Natomas United.

 

Kryptonite girls played in the Stanford Classic bringing home the First place trophy.

game 1 defeating Mill Valley 4-1 goals by Jariah Indalecio (3), Skye Merlin

game 2 defeating Mavericks 3-1 goals by Nylah Trias (2), and Jariah Indalecio

game 3 defeating Castro Valley 3-1 goals by Nylah Trias

Kryptonite faced Castro Valley in a exciting final winning by one point 2-1 goals by Jariah Indalecio and Nylah Trias

 

Kryptonite Played in the San Francisco Golden Gate International over Labor Day weekend were they became Back To Back Tournament Champs.

game 1 defeating central Marin 3-1 goals by Jariah Indalecio. In this game, Leah Lynch made a few unbelievable stops to keep Central Marin at bay.

game 2 defeating North Bay Fury 1-0 goal by Nylah Trias. Skye Merlin shut down her side in this game and made great passes to her team mates up field.

game 3 defeating SF United 6-0 goals by Piper Sweeny (2), Jariah Indalecio (2), Nylah Trias, and Jayden Reynolds. Jayden controlled the middle with her ball movement and and footwork, and Leah Lynch was a force up top.

Kryptonite Faced North Bay Fury in the final ending a hard fought game tied 0-0 bringing the game into a double overtime and penalty kicks. Great defense by Madden Black and Athena Taylor. Sofia used her creativity to knife through the midfield and pass to team mates while Addison McNeil wore out the defense with her relentless pursuit of the goal. Aubrey Westbrook and Nylah Trias closed and locked down the middle of the field defensively for Kryptonite.North Bay missing two goals and one stop from Goalie Piper Sweeney “Pink Bear”. Kryptonite put the game away with 3-0 PK’s from Nylah Trias, Ella Nguyen, Aubrey Westbrook.
