01 Kurse pull out late win

On Saturday, West Coast Kurse U16 Girls started their fall season with a 2-1 win over Heritage. West Coast player Jordan Brown scored first off a 30 yard free kick. Heritage came back and answered with a goal to tie the match. In the 80th minute a PK was awarded to West Coast Kurse. Jordan Brown found the net again handling the pressure well with a crisp and clean corner shot taking Kurse in the last minute of the match to a 2-1 win!
On Sunday,  Kurse came out with a quick start and passionate play. Within the first 10 minutes of the game Monique Reil found the back of the net. As the half went on Vacaville continued to play hard and had a few opportunities. In the second half there was a deflection that bounced positive for Vacaville and they did well to capitalize.  Vacaville played well and utilized even the smallest of mistakes and took the game to 1-2. They also looked poised and ready to strike as they were awarded a pk. West Coast Kurse GoalKeeper Briana O’Dell came up big with a huge pk save. Vacaville came in hard to score the rebound but again O’Dell was there with another point blank save on a extremely hard struck shot. Kurse was able to get a few more opportunities but couldn’t find the net. Vacaville did find a goal just beneath the cross bar for a final score Kurse 1 Vacaville 3.
