wcdaWCDA director Greg Ion is pleased to announce the introduction of the Girls WCDA program.

“We have established the Boys WCDA and after 3 years, we knew it was time to bring the girls into the program. We have been asked to help support the growth of the Girls and we are looking forward to the opportunity,” states Ion.

We are excited to welcome into the program West Coast Soccer Club as one of the founding members of the Girls initiative. Troy Dyak has done an outstanding job with the West Coast soccer club and we are thrilled to work with Troy and the West Coast teams.  “West Coast Soccer is very proud to be accepted into the WCDA and we look forward to working with the organization to help provide our club members with additional collegiate opportunities” Troy Dayak- Founder & Director of West Coast Soccer.

We have a solid foundation of WCDA clubs and we anticipate having 25-30 girls programs in year 1.

WCDA has three conferences, Mountain, North Pacific and Southwest Pacific. The top teams from each conference will be invited to Seattle in May 2014 for the college showcase Finals.

WCDA has partnered with some of the top college Showcases including SOCAL Showcase (LA Premier), Carlsbad November Nights (Carlsbad SC) and Players College showcase (Players Club). These showcases bring in a large number of college coaches and all WCDA teams are guaranteed entrance into these prestigious events.

WCDA girls will also highlight U16 and U17 players in the program and will select an All WCDA team to participate in the Finals showcase in May. Players invited to the All WCDA team only have to pay to get to Seattle; all other expenses are covered by the WCDA.
