Under sunny skies, the West Coast Soccer spring recreational academy concluded with cup-style games on Saturday. Players from Mountain House and the surrounding area have participated in weekly practice and game sessions under the direction of Coaches Jacob Wall and TJ Dayak and Academy Director Scott Schoenthal. With over 100 players enrolled in age groups from Under-5 through Under-15, the WCS spring academy program has combined teaching soccer skills and techniques with fun games in an inclusive environment.
“This is my third year working with our rec academy and I continue to be impressed with the improvement and dedication in our players,” said Scott Schoenthal. “Working with Coach Jacob and Coach TJ has been a great experience as their enthusiasm has set a great example for our youth athletes.”
